Brendan is an experienced criminal defence lawyer. Prior to being called to
the Bar, he practiced extensively in the criminal jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Court and the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory with North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA), operating exclusively as a defence advocate.

Since coming to the Bar, Brendan has appeared in the the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia, as well as County Court and Supreme Court of Victoria and the Victorian Court of Appeal. He is now at the NSW Bar and has appeared in the District Court of NSW as well as .

Brendan practises in Criminal, Family and Native Title Law. He has appeared in the following reported cases:
